The Windrush generation have made an enormous contribution to the development of the NHS and they continue to be on the frontline.

YOU ARE ANGELS !
BLITZ the London skyline ablaze and surrounded by the fiery glow. This triggered the need for the call out to the Windrush generation to come to the mother country and rebuild the infrastructure. Without this historic event there would not be a Notting Hill Carnival.
Like a Swan, black is elegance grace and beauty.

SPIRIT OF EMANCIPATION
Steel Pan came with the Windrush generation, the instrument of the carnival. It exist because of the ingenuity and defiance of the Xslaves who were forbidden by law to use drums in celebrations. As Pan is metal and not skin, this melodious, new metal drum was outside the scope of the law and has given the world this new instrument, a symbol of the identity of the Caribbean.
From Kelso Cochrane to Stephen Lawrence to George Floyd the blood of the black communities of the world continues to flow due to the colour of our skin. This was predicted in the Rivers of Blood speech given by Enoch Powell.
The Spirit of George he lives on emphasising the need to change the world now.
It’s time to open the gates of freedom. We cannot wait any longer, the time for change is now equality and justice for all.
